4. Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers

With Davante Adams gone, the Packers have a lot of receptions to replace. Diontae Johnson could help. Johnson is a yards-after-catch master and he thrives in the short and intermediate passing games.

Johnson’s 107 receptions ranked fifth in the NFL last season, while his 527 yards after catch ranked eighth. In total, he finished the year with 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns.

When in need of a first down, you can look Johnson’s way. Of his 107 catches, 59 went for first downs, ranking 10th in the NFL. He moved the chains on over half of his receptions.

Johnson would be a perfect fit in the Packers’ offense. Matt LaFleur could move him around and find ways to get the ball in his hands.

The Pittsburgh Steelers face an uncertain offseason. A rebuild could be on the way with the Ben Roethlisberger era coming to an end. Johnson, a third-round pick in 2019, is entering the final season on his rookie deal. If the Steelers can’t work out a long-term contract, they risk losing him in free agency next year.

Would the Steelers be willing to listen to offers? If so, the Packers should be on the phone. Johnson would be a great addition to LaFleur’s offense.
