Round 3 (92): Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington State

Green Bay will need to bolster its offensive line depth in the draft at some stage. With Washington State tackle Abraham Lucas still on the board, this was an easy choice.

If Elgton Jenkins misses time this season while he recovers from a torn ACL, Lucas could compete for the starting job at right tackle. Even if he’s not a starter from Day 1, Lucas would be a solid backup early on with the potential to take over a starting job eventually.

“Lucas has all the tools in the shed to develop into a quality starting right tackle in the NFL,” wrote Brennen Rupp of Packers Wire.

Round 3 (94): Jalen Tolbert, WR, South Alabama

The Packers need to draft multiple wide receivers. After selecting Treylon Burks in the first round, they find their future WR2 in South Alabama’s Jalen Tolbert. Again, I loved the value here. Tolbert could be a second-round pick, so to get him at No. 94 overall was too good to pass up.

“His traits, talent and production should push him up the board, and dialing up the competitive spirit could turn him into a top-flight WR2,” wrote NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein, who compared Tolbert to Marvin Jones.

Tolbert is a two-time first-team All-Sun Belt and was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year in 2021.

The Packers need to add multiple pass-catchers with Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling gone. Drafting Burks, McBride, and Tolbert would be a great way to go.
