Four-round mock draft for the Packers featuring multiple trades.

Owning two first-round picks gives the Green Bay Packers a lot of flexibility.

That could mean using both selections to move up for one of the top prospects in the class. However, another possibility is using one of them to move down.

Green Bay could acquire some value in the later rounds by moving down in the first round while still owning another Day 1 selection. It could be a real possibility on draft day.

So, with the help of the premium version of The Draft Network’s mock draft machine, I gave it a go.

Packers trade down with Chiefs

It starts with a trade on the first day. Instead of staying put at No. 22, the pick Green Bay received from the Las Vegas Raiders, it trades down.

The Packers still own two first-round picks after this trade but moving down seven spots also nets them a bonus third-round selection.

Following this deal, Green Bay owns two picks in the first round, two in the second, and two in the third. Even more flexibility to move up, should GM Brian Gutekunst wish.

This is the first of two trade-downs in this mock draft. Let’s move on to the second.
