Packers mock draft using Fanspeak simulator

This mock draft was created using Fanspeak’s simulator.

Round 1 (22): George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

The Packers would have to be delighted if George Karlaftis fell to No. 22. Many mocks have him going inside the top 15. He is one of the best pass rushers in the class.

A trio of Karlaftis, Rashan Gary, and Preston Smith would be a lot of fun.

Round 1 (28): Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

No wide receiver yet, but if Daxton Hill is available at No. 28, he should be in real consideration for the Packers. Hill can eventually become a starting safety for Green Bay, but he could also be the perfect fit for the “star” position in Joe Barry’s defense.

Hill has great versatility and can become an excellent starter.

Round 2 (53): Travis Jones, DL, UConn

Still no wide receiver, but the value was impossible to ignore. Travis Jones is good enough to go in the first round but could potentially be there at No. 53.

Jones joins a defensive line featuring Kenny Clark and Jarran Reed. With the top three picks, the Packers have added a lot of talent on defense.

Round 2 (59): George Pickens, WR, Georgia

A dream scenario here with George Pickens still on the board at No. 59.

Pickens might be the best fit for Green Bay of all the top wide receivers in this class. He has excellent size, is physical, and is a strong blocker. He has everything Matt LaFleur looks for in his wide receivers.

Round 3 (92): Jalen Tolbert, WR, South Alabama

Jalen Tolbert is another great fit for LaFleur’s offense.

He has good size, speed, and athleticism. He is a smooth route-runner and can block — another strong addition at wide receiver for the Packers.
