The Green Bay Packers went all defense in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, selecting Georgia teammates Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt.

After strengthening the defense in the opening round, the Packers are now scheduled to pick three times on Day 2, twice in the second round and once in the third.

Who could the Packers target on Day 2? Let’s look at some of the best remaining prospects.

Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

After drafting Walker, the Packers almost certainly won’t add his Georgia teammate at the same position. But Dean is one of the best defensive players still on the board and likely won’t be available for long on Day 2.

David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

Had it not been for a torn Achilles in March, Ojabo would’ve likely been picked already. He may miss his entire rookie season, but his potential is huge.

Boye Mafe, EDGE, Minnesota

Green Bay should look to add pass-rush depth on Day 2, and there are few edge rushers in this class with the upside of Mafe.

Travis Jones, DL, UConn

After drafting Wyatt, now imagine putting Jones next to him. This seems less likely now, however.

Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

Cornerback might not be Green Bay’s biggest need but it is an area where they could add more depth. Booth is a talented player.

George Pickens, WR, Clemson

Could the Packers go three-for-three on Georgia prospects? Pickens might be the best wide receiver still available, so why not?

Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State

Watson feels like a Packers wide receiver with his blend of size, speed, and athleticism. Don’t be surprised if he’s the pick at No. 53.

Jalen Pitre, S, Baylor

Green Bay needs a third safety, but Pitre can be a lot more than that. His ability to play in the slot should also interest the Packers.

Abraham Lucas, T, Washington State

If the Packers look to strengthen the offensive line on Day 2, Lucas would be a fine choice. He can be the team’s next starting right tackle.

Nik Bonitto, EDGE, Oklahoma

Bonitto could be there when the Packers pick in the second round. He has the potential to become an excellent pass rusher in the NFL.
