The Green Bay Packers focused on the offense in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

With their first pick on Day 3, the Packers selected wide receiver Romeo Doubs out of Nevada.

They then added Wake Forest offensive lineman Zach Tom.

Here are our grades for both picks:

ROMEO DOUBS. B+. . WR. Green Bay Packers

The Packers get some more receiving help. After losing Marquez Valdes-Scantling, head coach Matt LaFleur spoke about the need to add receivers who can stretch defenses vertically.

Second-round pick Christian Watson can do this, and so can new addition Romeo Doubs out of Nevada.

“Romeo Doubs is a dynamic and explosive athlete with very good straight-line speed and agility as a route-runner,” wrote The Draft Network’s Drae Harris.

Early on, Doubs will provide some depth to the wide receiver corps. With his speed, he could quickly become a big-play threat.

Special teams is another area Doubs can help. He has experience returning punts. In four seasons at Nevada, Doubs returned 37 punts for 463 yards and a touchdown, averaging 12.5 yards per return.

Green Bay’s wide receiver corps is looking much healthier.

. T. Green Bay Packers. ZACH TOM. A

Versatility and athleticism.

That’s what the Packers love from their offensive linemen, and Zach Tom provides both.

Tom has played at both tackle and center and could also play at guard. That versatility will help him get plenty of opportunities in Green Bay.

Let’s talk about athleticism. Tom earned a Relative Athletic Score of 9.59 out of 10.

According to Pro Football Focus, Tom earned the highest pass-blocking grade in the FBS last season.

Green Bay needed to strengthen its offensive line depth in this year’s draft. It has achieved this by drafting Sean Rhyan in the third round and now Zach Tom in the fourth.

Few teams restock their offensive line depth on Day 3 like the Packers. Tom is another excellent pick.
