Packers 53-man roster predictions following 2022 NFL Draft
Offensive line (9)
David Bakhtiari, Jon Runyan Jr., Josh Myers, Royce Newman, Yosh Nijman, Sean Rhyan, Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker, Cole Van Lanen
PUP list: Elgton Jenkins
Brian Gutekunst deserves a round of applause for his offensive line additions in the draft.
Even if Elgton Jenkins misses the start of the season on the PUP list, the Packers have good depth across the board.
Third-round pick Sean Rhyan can play tackle and guard. He will most likely compete with Royce Newman for the starting right guard job in 2022. Rhyan is an excellent athlete and should be able to play early on.
Fourth-rounder Zach Tom also brings versatility, having spent time at both tackle and center while at Wake Forest. Like Rhyan, Tom may compete for a starting guard spot, although he could also be in contention for the right tackle spot while Jenkins is out.
Rasheed Walker is a player to watch this summer.
NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein projected Walker to go in the third round. The Packers drafted him in the seventh. He could also be in the mix to start at right tackle if Jenkins misses the start of the season.
The Packers have strong depth across the line. Gutekunst deserves a lot of credit.
