Packers schedule: Green Bay to host Cowboys in Week 10.

It has been almost four years since Mike McCarthy’s last trip to Lambeau Field. Then, he was coaching his final game for the Green Bay Packers.

Now, he returns as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, aiming to defeat the Packers.

The NFL announced today that the Packers’ matchup with the Cowboys this season will take place in Week 10 on FOX.

The NFL schedule will be released in full on Thursday night.

According to the Packers’ official website, the game will be in the late afternoon slot with a 3:25 p.m. CT kickoff time.

McCarthy will be able to take a stroll down Mike McCarthy Way near Lambeau Field before the game.

It’s easy to forget what an important role he played for this franchise. Under his leadership, Green Bay became Super Bowl champions in the 2010 season and enjoyed many years of success.

But there’s little doubt he would love to come to Lambeau Field and defeat his former team.

Beyond just the McCarthy returning to Green Bay storyline, this could also be a significant matchup for the NFC standings.

Both the Packers and Cowboys were in contention for the No. 1 seed last season. Green Bay eventually secured home-field advantage.

It will also be a clash of two great quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers versus Dak Prescott.

It should be a fascinating game between two teams expected to win their respective divisions and make a playoff run. The storyline of Rodgers vs. McCarthy only adds to the drama.

So far, we know two games on the Packers’ schedule.

Green Bay will visit London in Week 5 to take on the New York Giants. They will host the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field in Week 10.
