Packers 2022 schedule release: Game-by-game, final record predictions
Week 13: at Chicago Bears
Don’t worry about the Packers losing a home game to London. They gain one every year at Soldier Field. Green Bay has won 11 of its last 12 games on the road at Chicago, an incredible record.
Unfortunately for the Bears, I don’t see this changing anytime soon.
Chicago’s offensive line could be in for a long day against Green Bay’s impressive front seven.
Not only will the Bears need to be prepared for Rashan Gary and Preston Smith on the edge, but also the interior pass rush from Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, and Jarran Reed.
The Bears’ defense will also take a step back in 2022.
They traded away All-Pro pass rusher Khalil Mack, while Pro Bowl defensive lineman Akiem Hicks remains a free agent.
On offense, they lost top wide receiver Allen Robinson.
These two teams are in entirely different positions. The Bears are entering a rebuild after making a change at head coach and general manager.
The Packers face a rebuild in the not-too-distant future but, for now, they are all-in with a championship roster.
Under Matt LaFleur, the Packers have swept the Bears in each of his three seasons as head coach. There’s a strong possibility his team sweeps their oldest rivals once again.
Prediction: Green Bay 24, Chicago 14 (9-4)
