Week 16: at Miami Dolphins (Christmas Day)

The last time the Packers played on the road against the Miami Dolphins, Aaron Rodgers led a game-winning drive with a last-second touchdown pass to tight end Andrew Quarless. Just three seconds were left on the clock following the score.

Moments before, Rodgers had pulled off a fake spike, finding Davante Adams.

Hopefully it won’t be quite as tense this time.

The Dolphins made a huge offseason trade for All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill, giving them one of the best receiving duos in the league. Hill joins 2021 sixth overall pick Jaylen Waddle.

However, there are still plenty of questions for this Dolphins team.

One benefit Green Bay has is the timing of this game. Getting to play a game in Florida in December is ideal. The conditions won’t be as tough as in September or October.

The Packers’ offense could be rolling at this point in the season. Rodgers will have had plenty of time to get comfortable with his new receivers. That said, the Dolphins do have a talented secondary.

Even so, I predict Green Bay goes on the road and picks up a key late-season victory over Miami. And with that, they take another giant step towards a favorable seed in the NFC playoff picture.

Prediction: Green Bay 27, Miami 14 (11-4)
