Week 5: New York Giants (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium)

This is the game we already knew about last week. The Packers will be making their first trip to London for a regular season game as they ‘host’ the New York Giants.

As a Packers fan in the UK who also supports Tottenham Hotspur, to say I’m excited would be a major understatement.

In terms of opponents, the Packers have to be delighted.

Playing away from Lambeau Field after a long flight makes this anything but a home game. Had they given up a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys or Los Angeles Rams, this would’ve been a difficult spot to be in.

But no matter whether the game is played at Lambeau, Tottenham, or on Mars, the Packers should beat the Giants.

It might not be the greatest performance from the offense — Green Bay tends to struggle to find rhythm on these long trips — but Aaron Rodgers will do enough to guide his team to victory.

One advantage for Matt LaFleur’s team is that, while they are playing in London, the UK is home to a huge number of Packers fans. They will be loud and doing all they can to make Tottenham Hotspur Stadium feel like a home game for Green Bay.

If you are on the fence about making the trip — do it. The NFL experience in the UK is a lot of fun, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is incredible.

Prediction: Green Bay 27, New York 17 (4-1)
