On paper, the Green Bay Packers might not have the NFL’s strongest roster, but they aren’t far off the top contenders.

With Aaron Rodgers committed to returning, the Packers have retained most of their key players outside of Davante Adams and built on a strong roster.

Following the NFL schedule release this week, FanSided’s Matt Verderame predicted every single regular season game, plus the playoffs.

Verderame is expecting it to be another successful regular season for the Packers, with Matt LaFleur’s team going 12-5 and winning a fourth consecutive NFC North title.

Such a record secures the NFC’s third seed behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams.

It sends Green Bay into the wild-card round for a home matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The good news? Verderame has the Packers comfortably winning that game, 34-19. The bad news? They then head on the road for a divisional round matchup with the Rams. One they lose, 35-26.

Making the Super Bowl is never easy, especially with the two previous Super Bowl winners in the same conference.

However, as we enter the final stretch of Aaron Rodgers’ career, anything outside of a Super Bowl win would be considered a disappointment for Green Bay.

This is a team built to win now.

Verderame’s article shows just how tough it will be for any team to go all the way. The AFC has more contenders, but the NFC has plenty of talent too. The winner of each conference will have gone through a tough path to get there.

While we all hope the Packers end their decade-long wait for a Super Bowl return, it won’t be easy. It’s hard to argue with Verderame’s predictions.

Green Bay has dominated the regular season since 2019. Now it’s time for this team to show it can become an unstoppable playoff team.
