When it comes to bringing the Lombardi Trophy home, the Green Bay Packers player that will get impacted the most is Aaron Rodgers, and deservedly so.

He is the greatest QB of all time but obviously wants more.

Besides Rodgers, there are other key players in Green Bay that would give anything for a Super Bowl ring because that will cement their amazing careers.

Some of those players are wide receiver Randall Cobb, left tackle David Bakhtiari, cornerback Jaire Alexander, defensive tackle Kenny Clark, kicker Mason Crosby, running back Aaron Jones, and tight end Marcedes Lewis.

A victory in the Super Bowl would cement each of these players’ careers in different ways.

Starting with Cobb, the former Kentucky Wildcat is a franchise legend. He is entering his 12th NFL season and 10th in Green Bay. He will be in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame when he hangs up his cleats.

The former Pro Bowler is sixth all-time in receptions in Packers history behind names of Donald Driver, Davante Adams, Sterling Sharpe, Jordy Nelson, and James Lofton. A Super Bowl ring would be the icing on the cake for one of the greatest slot receivers in Packers history.

Bakhtiari is the best at his position in the league.

The Pro Bowl voting is a celebrity contest. There is no greater proof of that than Bakhtiari. No. 69 has been named to five All-Pro teams and just three Pro Bowls.

The soon-to-be 10-year veteran has started every single one of the 94 career games he has played in, dating back to his rookie season in 2013. With plenty left in the tank and being fully healthy entering 2022, the former Colorado Buffalo has a chance to cement a possible Hall-of-Fame career with a ring.

Fresh off of signing a new record-setting four-year, $84 million deal, All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander will remain Green Bay for the foreseeable future.

He is the best cover corner in the game. His instincts are incredible. Alexander’s ball skills are top-tier. No. 23 had double-digit passes defended in each of his first three career seasons.

Also, he is extremely resilient. After suffering what a lot of people would consider a season-ending shoulder injury, the former Louisville Cardinal fought back to play in the postseason.

At just 25, Alexander would set himself up for a storied career with a Super Bowl win. In 2020, he was named a second-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler. A ring could very well make him a candidate for the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame at the very latest.

Clark is one of the quietly great defensive players in the game. He doesn’t get talked about a lot because he plays in Green Bay and the Packers haven’t always been known for defense in Clark’s six career seasons playing at Lambeau Field.

The multi-time Pro Bowler has started every single game he has played in after his rookie season in 2016. In 2021, the former UCLA Bruin set a career high in QB hits with 13.

Going into his seventh season, he is still just 26. He still has so much left in his career. He has plenty of time to not only cement himself as a Packers Hall-of-Famer, but maybe he has his eyes set on a bronze bust in Canton too.

A Super Bowl win would put him up there in the conversation for one of the greatest interior defensive linemen in Packers history.

Crosby has had a historic career in Green Bay. The 15-year vet has never missed a game. He is the franchise’s all-time leader in points scored. He is 14th all time in points (1,806) and 17th all time in field goals made (370).

He has been the architect of some of the greatest clutch kicks in the history of the Packers, especially in the postseason. His name will be in Green Bay’s ring of honor eventually. A second Super Bowl victory would put him in the company with some of the greatest kickers ever with multiple rings.

Jones is another young player that still has plenty of time to cement himself as a great running back. He has had back-to-back-to-back seasons of 1,200 scrimmage yards and 10+ touchdowns. He is a production machine.

The former UT-El Paso alum is already fifth all time in rushing yards in Green Bay history and fourth in rushing touchdowns. Jones is only 27. Some Super Bowl hardware would help his case of becoming one of the great Packers running backs in history.

Lewis, A.K.A. Big Dog, is 37 years old. In his short time in Green Bay (four seasons), the former Jaguar has proven to be a fan favorite of many Packers fans. He and QB Aaron Rodgers have formed a very strong bond that is unbreakable.

They have both been the league for over 15 seasons. Big Dog’s experience is key in this Green Bay locker room. On the field, he is still one of the best run-blocking tight ends in the league. At 6-foot-6, he is an absolute wall.

The former All-Pro has over 5,000 career receiving yards. He has started every single game he has played in in 12 of 16 seasons. He is one of the most durable tight ends in history. A Super Bowl victory would add to what is already one of the most successful careers at one of the most physical positions in the game.

A lot of these players have already reached greatness in their own different way. But aside from Crosby, most of these players have failed to reach the big game. They have had successful careers in their own right but are still looking to appear in the Super Bowl.

Rest assured, this current Packers team is ready to go. They are very well-rounded and could still get even better. These veterans will all play a key role in what this team does this fall and winter.
