Packers post-minicamp 53-man roster predictions with depth chart
Green Bay Packers 53-man roster and depth chart predictions following their mandatory minicamp.
The Green Bay Packers have wrapped up their three-day mandatory minicamp.
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, the Packers canceled their final minicamp practice on Thursday. He notes that this is something they have done in the past to hold a team-building event.
The Packers will complete their OTAs next week, and then that will be it until training camp gets underway in late July.
With minicamp done, here’s my latest attempt at predicting the Packers’ 53-man roster. And I’ve also added my projected depth chart at each position.
Quarterbacks (2)
- Aaron Rodgers
- Jordan Love
There shouldn’t be any surprises here.
Aaron Rodgers has committed to playing this season, and he got a new deal this offseason. Jordan Love wasn’t traded during the 2022 NFL Draft, so all signs point to him remaining the backup quarterback in Green Bay.
The Packers don’t tend to keep three quarterbacks on the initial 53-man roster. If they do, Kurt Benkert is the obvious choice. But if they go with two quarterbacks as usual, it will likely be Rodgers and Love.
Can Aaron Rodgers win his fifth NFL MVP award and third in a row?
