Packers post-minicamp 53-man roster predictions with depth chart
Defensive line (5)
- Kenny Clark
- Dean Lowry
- Jarran Reed
- Devonte Wyatt
- T.J. Slaton
The Packers could possibly keep a sixth defensive lineman, but I’ve gone with just five here. And what an incredible group this can be.
Any of the top four could realistically be Day 1 starters. Devonte Wyatt is a first-round pick, so you could make a case for him being much higher on the depth chart. But this highlights the Packers’ great depth along the defensive line.
Edge rushers (5)
- Rashan Gary
- Preston Smith
- Kingsley Enagbare
- Jonathan Garvin
- Randy Ramsey
The Packers’ depth isn’t as strong at edge rusher, but they do have an excellent starting duo. Rashan Gary could even be a Defensive Player of the Year candidate this season. The sky is the limit.
Green Bay will hope Kingsley Enagbare can contribute as a rookie. Randy Ramsey’s return from injury will also help this group.
Inside linebackers (6)
- De’Vondre Campbell
- Quay Walker
- Krys Barnes
- Ty Summers
- Isaiah McDuffie
- Tariq Carpenter
Keeping six inside linebackers might seem like a lot, but special teams was considered here.
The Packers’ top three of De’Vondre Campbell, Quay Walker, and Krys Barnes gives them tremendous talent and depth at inside linebacker.
Ty Summers and Isaiah McDuffie will play most of their snaps on special teams.
Tariq Carpenter can play both linebacker and safety, and he will also likely contribute a lot on special teams.
