Packers: Stealing one player from each NFC South team

Atlanta Falcons: TE Kyle Pitts

Imagine Kyle Pitts catching passes from Aaron Rodgers. Pitts made the Pro Bowl as a rookie, catching 68 passes for 1,026 yards and one touchdown. The sky is the limit for the 2021 fourth overall pick.

The Packers need pass-catchers, and Pitts could dominate in Matt LaFleur’s offense.

Carolina Panthers: EDGE Brian Burns

Brian Burns has 25.5 sacks and 55 quarterback hits in his first three seasons in the NFL. The Packers would no longer have to worry about their pass-rush depth if they added the Pro Bowler to their roster.

A trio of Burns, Rashan Gary, and Preston Smith would be dominant.

New Orleans Saints: S Tyrann Mathieu

This was a difficult choice as the Saints have a ton of talent on their roster. It was tempting to go with Marshon Lattimore or Cameron Jordan.

However, given the Packers’ need for a third safety, Tyrann Mathieu was the choice. Mathieu would be an upgrade on Darnell Savage, and we could see all three of the Packers’ top safeties on the field together.

The four-time All-Pro would be a great addition to the Packers’ defense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: WR Mike Evans

Four-time Pro Bowl receiver Mike Evans has hit 1,000 yards in all eight seasons he’s played in the NFL, a truly incredible accomplishment.

His connection with Tom Brady has been unstoppable, with Evans catching 27 touchdowns since 2020. He could have similar success catching passes from Aaron Rodgers.
