Packers: 3 trade targets before start of training camp
Three trade targets for the Green Bay Packers before training camp begins next month.
The Green Bay Packers are ready to win now.
Matt LaFleur’s team features a defense that could be among the best in the league. From the front seven to the secondary, Green Bay’s defense includes multiple Pro Bowlers and young players with potential.
Offensively, the Packers have the back-to-back MVP at quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, a top-five running back duo, and a deep offensive line.
All the tools are there for the Packers to mount a serious Super Bowl challenge.
However, there are areas where they can improve. As noted above, “win now” is a phrase we’ll hear a lot regarding the Packers. They have a great roster, but the Super Bowl window might not be open a few years down the line.
Rodgers turns 39 this season and it’s unclear when he will decide to retire.
Green Bay should be open to the possibility of trading for a star player if an opportunity arises. This roster is among the best in the NFL, but there’s always room for improvement. One main area the Packers should consider targeting is wide receiver.
Let’s look at three potential trade targets for Green Bay before training camp begins in late July.
