Outside linebackers (5)

Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers, Za’Darius Smith, Rashan Gary, Preston Smith

Six times a Pro Bowler and twice an All-Pro, Clay Matthews had a dominant career in Green Bay, making 83.5 sacks. He forced a fumble in the Packers’ Super Bowl XLV victory.

Julius Peppers made an impressive 37.5 sacks in just four seasons. His biggest play came in the 2014 divisional round when he saved a touchdown by forcing a fumble on Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray.

Za’Darius Smith had 26 sacks and two Pro Bowls in two seasons. Rashan Gary is a breakout star, having been drafted 12th overall in 2019. Preston Smith has 25 sacks in three seasons.

Inside linebackers (4)

De’Vondre Campbell, A.J. Hawk, Nick Barnett, Blake Martinez

The Packers haven’t always had strong inside linebacker play during the Aaron Rodgers era, but they have had some excellent players over the years.

De’Vondre Campbell’s first season in Green Bay ended with first-team All-Pro honors. A.J. Hawk started an impressive 136 games for the Packers, making 922 tackles and 19 sacks and winning Super Bowl XLV.

Nick Barnett started 107 games for the Packers, although most of them came before the Rodgers era. Blake Martinez was a tackle machine, making 512 in just four seasons with the Packers. He led the league in tackles in 2017.
