3 Packers that could be traded before the start of the 2022 season
Which three players could the Green Bay Packers consider trading this summer?
Training camp gets underway next week. On the practice field, the Green Bay Packers will learn a lot about their roster.
Where they have great depth, where they may need to upgrade.
Fortunately, the Packers have a roster loaded with talent and great depth across the board. This team has every chance of remaining in Super Bowl contention this season, even after losing All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams.
Something general manager Brian Gutekunst has never been afraid to do is make trades.
One of his first moves as GM was to trade Damarious Randall to the Cleveland Browns. Gutekunst traded Josh Jackson to the New York Giants last summer.
If there is an area on the roster where the Packers have good depth, perhaps Gutekunst would consider making a trade at the position this summer.
In some cases, a player gets traded not due to a lack of talent, but rather a lack of potential opportunity moving forward. In other cases, things don’t work out for a player and a fresh start elsewhere makes sense.
With that in mind, let’s look at three Packers players who could potentially be trade candidates before the start of the 2022 season.
