Packers: Adrian Amos, Rashan Gary in PFF Top 50 players for 2022

Green Bay Packers defensive stars Adrian Amos and Rashan Gary are among the best players at their respective positions.

Pro Football Focus has ranked the top 50 players in the NFL ahead of the 2022 season. Currently, they have revealed the players ranked between Nos. 31 and 50.

The Packers have already had two players featured in Amos and Gary.

Amos is 40th on the list, while Gary is ranked 49th.

PFF’s Sam Monson wrote in the article that Amos “has a real argument to be seen as the league’s best safety”.

Amos has been incredibly consistent in his three years with the Packers.

Since signing with the Packers in 2019, Amos has never missed a game. In the 49 he has played, he has started all of them.

Amos has made 260 tackles, 25 pass defenses, and six interceptions.

In Amos, defensive coordinator Joe Barry knows he has a player he can trust to rarely make mistakes and consistently help the defense.

Monson noted in the article that Gary made 81 pressures last season, an impressive number.

Gary also led the Packers in sacks with 9.5, while making 28 quarterback hits.

In Gary’s first two seasons, he made a combined four starts as he played a backup role behind Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith.

Za’Darius Smith missed the majority of the 2021 season due to injury, which led to Gary starting 16 games. And he stepped up when the Packers desperately needed him.

Entering 2022, there is little doubt that Gary is Green Bay’s top pass rusher. This season, he could become one of the best in the entire league.

It’s fair to assume that Amos and Gary won’t be the only Packers players in Pro Football Focus’ top 50.
