Two more Green Bay Packers have made Pro Football Focus’ rankings of the top 50 players entering the 2022 season.

Earlier this week, PFF revealed that Packers safety Adrian Amos and edge rusher Rashan Gary had made the rankings.

They have now revealed which players are ranked between Nos. 21 and 30.

Two more Packers have made the list: cornerback Jaire Alexander and left tackle David Bakhtiari.

The fact that both players missed the majority of last season yet still rank so high on the list speaks volumes about how talented they are.

Alexander is No. 22 in the rankings, while Bakhtiari is at No. 23.

In the rankings, Sam Monson notes that Alexander is Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded cornerback since 2020.

That’s not surprising. Alexander was named an All-Pro and Pro Bowler for the first time in 2020. He was dominant that season, shutting down some of the best wide receivers in the league every week.

Alexander was on course for another big season before suffering a shoulder injury in 2021.

Despite not playing a full game since late in the 2020 season, Bakhtiari still deserves to be high on the list. Prior to suffering a torn ACL, Bakhtiari had been named an All-Pro five seasons in a row, which is incredible.

Of those selections, he twice made the first team and three times the second team. Bakhtiari is also a three-time Pro Bowler.

Assuming Bakhtiari is fully healthy, even if he were just 80% the player he was before the injury, he would still be one of the top tackles in the NFL. But if Bakhtiari returns to his best form, you won’t find a better pass-protector in the league.

With Alexander and Bakhtiari making PFF’s top 50, the Packers have now had four selections. The top 20 are still to be revealed. Aaron Rodgers will almost certainly be one of them. Will any other Packers make the top 50?
