It’s almost time for the Green Bay Packers to return for training camp.

The Green Bay Packers’ rookie class will report to training camp on Friday, but when will the veteran players return?

Just a couple of days before the rookies were set to return, the team announced that second-round pick Christian Watson had signed his contract.

The wait for the veteran players to join the rookies won’t be a long one.

When do the Packers’ veteran players report to training camp?

According to the Packers’ official website, the veteran players will report to training camp on Tuesday, July 26, just four days after the rookies.

Their return is just one day before the team’s first practice.

The wait between OTAs and minicamp to training camp is always a long one. It’s without doubt, the quietest part of the NFL calendar. However, with that coming to an end and training camp practices almost here, the excitement can begin.

Green Bay’s first practice will take place on Wednesday, July 27, followed by practices on Thursday, July 28 and Saturday, July 30. Each of these three practices will begin at 10:45 a.m. CT.

There will be plenty to watch at the first few practices.

The rookies will be tested. Which first-year players look most likely to make an immediate impact for the Packers?

Will David Bakhtiari be back out there practicing in full? How close to returning are injured starters like Elgton Jenkins and Robert Tonyan?

Will the offense struggle early following the offseason changes at wide receiver? Will the defense show early signs of living up to its potential?

Which players will surprise and show why they deserve a roster spot? Which other players may fall down the depth chart?

There are so many interesting storylines to follow, and we are now less than a week away from the veteran players returning and the Packers’ first practice.
