Ahead of training camp, it’s time to predict the Green Bay Packers’ 53-man roster.

We have finally made it. On Friday, Green Bay Packers rookies report to training camp. In less than a week, the veteran players will return and the team will have its first practice.

So, it’s about that time to make some 53-man roster predictions.

Between now and the end of the preseason, a lot will change. Many positional battles will be settled. Some players on the roster bubble will come from nowhere and put in strong performances throughout the summer.

There will be some surprises along the way.

This 53-man roster prediction gives a good overview of where the Packers are deepest and where there are still some areas of concern.

So let’s get started. Here are my pre-training camp 53-man roster predictions.

Specialists (3)

Mason Crosby, Pat O’Donnell, Steven Wirtel

The 2022 season could end up being Mason Crosby’s last in Green Bay. But that’s a conversation for another day.

For now, Crosby will aim to put a disappointing 2021 season behind him and get back to his consistent best.

The arrival of veteran punter Pat O’Donnell will help. He has plenty of experience as a holder in cold conditions.

There will be competition for the long snapper spot, but Steven Wirtel just gets the edge.
