Jaire Alexander is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, and the Green Bay Packers‘ star defensive back is also the second-highest rated player at his position in the “Madden NFL 23” video game.

The overall player ratings for the defensive backs were released on Thursday.

Alexander has an overall rating of 94 in the game, which ranks second among cornerbacks behind only Jalen Ramsey, who has a rating of 98.

It’s hard to have too many arguments with Alexander’s rating. It’s a fair one.

In his last fully-healthy season in 2020, Alexander was voted to the Pro Bowl and named a second-team All-Pro after defending 13 passes and making life difficult for every wide receiver he faced.

Rasul Douglas has an overall rating of 80 in this year’s game, which is well-deserved considering how well he played last season. Douglas led the Packers in interceptions with five.

Second-year Eric Stokes will start the 2022 season with an overall rating of 79. If he can build on an impressive rookie season, it won’t be long before Stokes’ rating moves well into the 80s.

Packers safety Adrian Amos also gets the credit he deserves in the game with an overall rating of 88. At times, Amos can be underrated despite being one of the most consistent safeties in the NFL, so it’s good to see him get a high overall rating in “Madden NFL 23”.

Darnell Savage has a rating of 79. Again, it’s hard to have too many arguments. Savage didn’t have the season many expected in 2021 and he took a step back.

Savage has provided some solid play at safety but hasn’t yet become the star player many expected.

One player still awaiting his “Madden” rating is Aaron Rodgers. What is your prediction for the back-to-back MVP? Will Rodgers return to the “99 Club” in “Madden NFL 23”? Leave your predictions in the comments below.
