8. Tight end

Projected starters: Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis

Backups: Josiah Deguara, Tyler Davis, Dominique Dafney

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Robert Tonyan will begin training camp on the PUP list. Once healthy, he will be the Packers’ top pass-catching tight end.

While the Packers have talent at tight end, there are some concerns. Outside of Marcedes Lewis’ excellent blocking, there are big questions at the position.

Can Tonyan return to his 2020 best? Will Josiah Deguara take a step up in year three?

7. Edge rusher

Projected starters: Rashan Gary, Preston Smith

Backups: Kingsley Enagbare, Jonathan Garvin, Tipa Galeai

A lack of depth at edge rusher is why this position group is near the bottom of the rankings.

Rashan Gary could be a breakout star this season, and Preston Smith is a solid starter on the other side.

The Packers will hope rookie Kingsley Enagbare can contribute this season. If not, depth is a real concern behind the starters.

6. Offensive line

Projected starters: David Bakhtiari, Jon Runyan, Josh Myers, Royce Newman, Elgton Jenkins

Backups: Yosh Nijman, Sean Rhyan, Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker, Cole Van Lanen

The Packers’ top two offensive linemen, David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins, are on the PUP list to begin training camp.

When fully healthy, this offensive line can be up there with the best in the NFL.
