The Green Bay Packers‘ veteran players reported to training camp on Tuesday, and Aaron Rodgers made an epic entrance.

Rodgers arrived in the style of Cameron Poe from the movie “Con Air”, played by Nicolas Cage.

Here is the video of Rodgers as he arrived for the first day of training camp:

And why wouldn’t he? Rodgers is coming off back-to-back MVP seasons and is playing some of the best football of his entire career.

Rodgers has thrown for almost 8,500 yards with 85 touchdowns and only nine interceptions in the past two seasons.

He will be aiming to tie Peyton Manning’s NFL record of five MVP awards this season, and he would almost match Brett Favre’s record of winning three in a row.

The Packers will take to the practice field for the first time at camp on Wednesday. An important few weeks awaits Aaron Rodgers, as he will quickly aim to build chemistry with the newest receivers on the team: Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure.

Aaron Rodgers returning for his 18th season is great news for the Packers, but there should also be a lot of excitement about the defense.

In particular, the secondary.

Cornerbacks Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas were phenomenal last season despite missing Jaire Alexander for most of the year.

Well, the 2020 All-Pro and Pro Bowler is back. His return makes Green Bay’s secondary scary.

Aaron Rodgers committing to play this season is great news, but he is going to be tested early on at training camp against this defense.

Rodgers begins life without Davante Adams. The last time the Packers entered a season without a clear WR1 was in 2015 after Jordy Nelson’s ACL injury. That proved to be a difficult year for the offense.

There will be no bigger test for the offense early on than coming up against Joe Barry’s defense each day at practice.
