Packers 53-man roster predictions post-Family Night
With Family Night complete, here are the latest Green Bay Packers 53-man roster predictions.
The Green Bay Packers completed their annual Family Night scrimmage this weekend. During the evening, there were many standout moments.
So far this summer, Rashan Gary and Romeo Doubs have been among the top performers.
The Packers begin their preseason in less than a week.
With Family Night in the books, it’s time to make Packers 53-man roster predictions.
Quarterbacks (2)
Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love
Barring injury, this will be the Packers’ two quarterbacks on the roster. There is very little chance they keep more than two, and the decision to release Kurt Benkert earlier this summer highlights this.
Aaron Rodgers enters 2022 aiming to win his third straight NFL MVP award. It would be his fifth overall.
Jordan Love’s play so far this summer has been encouraging. He looks like a much-improved quarterback. It will be interesting to see how he gets on during the preseason. He should get plenty of opportunities.
Rodgers is still running the show on offense, but when he retires, it could become Love’s team. An important few weeks awaits Love during the preseason. Hopefully he can build on a good start to training camp.
