Tight ends (4)

Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis, Josiah Deguara, Tyler Davis

This assumes that Robert Tonyan will be cleared to return from a torn ACL before the Packers trim their roster to 53 players. If not, he could begin the regular season on the PUP list, with Dominique Dafney taking his spot on the roster.

If Tonyan is healthy, he will start alongside Marcedes Lewis.

Josiah Deguara is far from a roster lock and faces competition from Dafney. I feel more confident about Tyler Davis’ chances of making the 53. He will be a player to watch in the preseason.

Offensive linemen (9)

David Bakhtiari, Jon Runyan, Josh Myers, Royce Newman, Yosh Nijman, Zach Tom, Sean Rhyan, Jake Hanson, Cole Van Lanen

PUP: Elgton Jenkins

David Bakhtiari’s status remains unclear. It’s possible he could also start on the PUP list if he isn’t cleared to return before Week 1.

The Packers have good depth along the offensive line and there are many positional battles yet to be settled. Rookies Zach Tom and Sean Rhyan are knocking on the door for starting positions this season.

The Packers will hope Bakhtiari and Jenkins will be back sooner rather than later. Their returns will make a huge difference for this offensive line.
