To celebrate the start of the regular season, here are game-by-game predictions for the Green Bay Packers.

How great does it feel to have Green Bay Packers football back?

And it doesn’t get much bigger than a road game against the Minnesota Vikings to kick things off. These matchups are always must-see. The Vikings have been the Packers’ biggest rival in recent years.

After winning 13 games in three straight years, can Green Bay hit that number again? Here are my picks for every game on the schedule.

Week 1: Green Bay at Minnesota

This will be a challenging start for Matt LaFleur’s team. The Vikings will be fired up in front of a loud home crowd, and they will want to prove a point against the defending NFC North champions.

Green Bay’s dominant secondary will immediately be tested against Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, while the offensive line will match up with Za’Darius Smith and Danielle Hunter. Not an easy matchup.

A weakness for the Vikings is cornerback, but can the Packers’ new-look wide receiver corps take advantage? That could be the key matchup in this game.

Green Bay’s offense starts slowly, but the defense stands firm and gives the Packers an important road victory in the opener.

Pick: Green Bay 17, Minnesota 14 (1-0)
