Offensive line

1. Lions

Detroit’s offensive line could be one of the best in the NFL this season. The Lions have a talented tackle duo in Taylor Decker and second-year Penei Sewell, who made the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2021. At the interior spots, the Lions have Jonah Jackson and Frank Ragnow, who have both been Pro Bowlers since 2020.

The Lions have done an outstanding job of building their offensive line.

2. Packers

Much depends on the status of David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins. If they are both back in the starting lineup soon, the Packers’ offensive line will be right up there.

Green Bay has solid depth. Jon Runyan Jr., Josh Myers, and Royce Newman are the likely starters at the interior spots, but rookie Zach Tom can play all five positions. Tom was dominant in the preseason.

3. Vikings

The Vikings have invested plenty of high draft picks along the offensive line in recent years. Will it pay off in 2022? Brian O’Neill is coming off a Pro Bowl season, while first-round pick Christian Darrisaw enters year two. This offensive line has the potential to be a solid unit.

4. Bears

Yet again, the Bears find themselves at the bottom of the rankings. Despite adding former Packer Lucas Patrick in the offseason, there are some big questions for the Bears along the offensive line.
