Stock up: Christian Watson

This one might surprise you as Christian Watson only had two catches for 34 yards and dropped a would-be 75-yard touchdown on the first play. However, Watson showed a ton of potential in his NFL debut.

Despite barely playing in the summer and missing the entire preseason, the Packers showed confidence in Watson. According to Pro Football Reference, Watson played just over 65 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 1, more than Romeo Doubs.

That shows their belief in him.

Watson may have dropped a potential touchdown at the start of the game, but he also beat Patrick Peterson in coverage and made it look easy. With his route-running and speed, Watson flew past the eight-time Pro Bowler.

The best is yet to come.

Stock down: Secondary

There are high expectations for the Packers’ secondary, but this was a poor performance.

The Vikings kept Justin Jefferson away from Jaire Alexander throughout the game, and Jefferson made the Packers pay with nine catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns.

Could Green Bay have done more to get Alexander matched up on Jefferson? Absolutely.

It was a tough day for the secondary. Adrian Amos was the only player to make a pass defense, while the Vikings dominated through the air.
