The Green Bay Packers aim to get back on track when they host the Chicago Bears in Week 2.

Matt LaFleur’s team made the worst possible start to the regular season in a road defeat to the Minnesota Vikings. Can the Green Bay Packers get their first victory in their home opener versus the Chicago Bears?

The Bears enter the game as underdogs, but they made a winning start in Week 1, defeating the San Francisco 49ers at Soldier Field. A victory this week for Chicago would put Green Bay in a tough spot two weeks into the season.

The Packers have never lost back-to-back games in any regular season under LaFleur. Can they prevent that from happening in Week 2 versus the Bears?

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears prediction Week 2

Week 1 often leads to plenty of overreactions. Despite putting in a poor performance at U.S. Bank Stadium, Green Bay will still be among the NFC favorites this season.

Chicago did well to come from behind to defeat San Francisco last week, but it’s a different challenge at Lambeau Field.

The Bears’ receivers won’t find the same success against the Packers’ secondary as the Vikings did last week.

The loss at Minnesota will have given Green Bay a much-needed wake-up call. Even if they aren’t at their best against Chicago, this is a game they should win.

There may still be some frustrating moments from the offense as Aaron Rodgers continues to build trust with his young receivers, especially if Allen Lazard remains out, but they get the job done.
