WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. wouldn’t make an impact for the Packers in Week 3, or anytime soon for that matter. However, the three-time Pro Bowler will make any team in the NFL better when he is back from injury.

The Los Angeles Rams signed Beckham in the middle of last season. By January, he had become a major part of their offense and dominated in the playoffs, helping the Rams win a Super Bowl.

Beckham had 21 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the playoffs.

He could have a similar impact in Green Bay.

The Packers’ wide receiver corps has potential, but Beckham could be a difference maker in the postseason.

With Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson, and Romeo Doubs, the Packers have a group that should improve as the season goes on.

Lazard is a reliable target for Aaron Rodgers, Watkins has shown his deep-threat ability, while Watson and Doubs have all the potential in the world.

But Beckham’s arrival could help in a number of ways. For starters, he proved last season he’s still an outstanding wide receiver. Come playoff time, he could make a game-winning play.

Where he would also help the Packers is with the younger receivers. Imagine what Watson and Doubs could learn from Beckham when watching him at practice.

For a move that would help the Packers later in the year, sign Beckham.
