Which three players would be dream trade targets for the Green Bay Packers this season?

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst is the master of in-season additions. His best came last year when he signed cornerback Rasul Douglas in October.

Douglas would lead the Packers in interceptions with five, while providing excellent coverage. He would earn a new three-year contract extension in the offseason.

Gutekunst has made draft-day trades, both up and down, but we haven’t seen many in-season trades.

Maybe that will change this fall. Green Bay again has a roster ready to compete for a championship. If an opportunity comes up to strengthen the roster via a trade, it could prove to be the difference between winning and losing in January.

The trade deadline isn’t until November 1, which is the start of Week 9. So there is some time to make a deal.

Typically, selling teams are out of playoff contention and looking to acquire draft picks for the future. Buying teams are usually still in the mix and look to make an addition to help them reach the next level.

With that in mind, all three trade targets come from teams that could be well out of playoff contention by November. Here are three dream targets for the Packers this season.
