The Green Bay Packers aim to build on last week’s victory when they meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Here are three bold predictions for the Week 3 matchup.

The Green Bay Packers got the win they needed against the Chicago Bears last week, but a tough game awaits them on Sunday afternoon.

Next up is a trip to Florida to meet the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

One of the toughest games on the schedule and a huge test for Matt LaFleur’s team awaits on Sunday. Can the Packers pull off an impressive road victory? They have lost both games to the Bucs with Tom Brady.

Here are three bold predictions for Week 3.

Packers are held to 10 or fewer points

A week ago, I predicted that the Packers would hold the Bears to less than 10 points. They scored 10. I’ll call that a victory.

However, this week, I think the opposite is true.

This matchup against the Buccaneers’ defense scares me. The Packers haven’t been consistent offensively, and we saw them struggle big time in Week 1.

Green Bay may attempt to lean on its running backs again this week, but that’s no easy task against a Tampa Bay defense that has ranked top-three against the run in each of the past three seasons.

The Buccaneers’ defense is rock-solid against the run, and they’ve been dominant through two games this season. They are giving up just 6.5 points per game, and their impressive start will continue against the Packers in Week 3.

It could be a long afternoon for Green Bay’s offense.
