The Green Bay Packers have added Kenny Clark to their injury report for Week 3.

Ahead of their Week 3 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Green Bay Packers are dealing with a lot of injuries.

Unfortunately, it only continues to get worse. On Thursday, Pro Bowl defensive lineman Kenny Clark and kicker Mason Crosby were added to the Packers’ injury report.

Nine Packers players are now on the injury report for Week 3.

Packers add Kenny Clark and Mason Crosby to injury report

It’s never ideal when players are added to the injury report midweek.

Kenny Clark practiced in full on Wednesday but was added to the injury report on Thursday due to a groin injury. What we don’t yet know is whether there is any doubt about his availability for Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay.

We’ll get a clearer picture on Friday. If he practices and isn’t ruled out, it will be a good sign.

Mason Crosby was added to the injury report due to illness. Randall Cobb has also missed practice this week due to illness.

However, there’s some good news. According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Packers special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia believes Crosby will be fine to play this week.

More good news for Green Bay on Thursday was that left tackle David Bakhtiari practiced after sitting out on Wednesday. Hopefully it’s a good sign for his availability this week against the Buccaneers.

Four wide receivers — CobbChristian WatsonAllen Lazard, and Sammy Watkins — all missed practice on Thursday.

Tight end Marcedes Lewis also missed practice due to a groin injury.

Green Bay would miss Lewis badly if he is out this week. His blocking would be so important against one of the league’s top defenses.

All eyes will be on the final injury report tomorrow.
