Can the Green Bay Packers make it three straight wins when they take on the New England Patriots in Week 4? It’s time for the bold predictions.

Powered by their defense and special teams, the Green Bay Packers won a close game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

After defeating Tom Brady, the Packers now take on his former team, the New England Patriots, for the first time in four years.

These two teams enjoyed a game for the ages when the Patriots last visited Lambeau Field in 2014, but it could be a different story this time.

Let’s make three bold predictions for the Packers in Week 4.

Packers intercept Brian Hoyer three times

With ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting that Patriots quarterback Mac Jones will likely “miss multiple games” due to an ankle injury, Brian Hoyer is set to start in Week 4.

While Hoyer is an experienced quarterback, he has only started two games since the 2017 season. It could be a long afternoon up against a dominant Packers defense.

The Packers’ defense has done a lot right so far this season, but they have only made two interceptions. They are talented enough to get multiple picks in a game, and it could happen on Sunday.

Green Bay has an excellent pass rush, but its biggest strength is the secondary, especially if Jaire Alexander is cleared to return from injury.

The Patriots will likely be chasing the game and forced to throw the ball often. That could lead to plenty of turnover opportunities for the Packers’ defense.

In Hoyer’s first start since Week 4 of the 2020 season, he throws three interceptions.
