Three things Packers must do to defeat Giants in London
3. Stop turning the ball over
After a rough start, the Packers looked far more themselves offensively in the second half last week. Green Bay has been uncharacteristically sloppy when taking care of the football this season. They have already given it away seven times in four games, which is so unlike the Packers’ offense under Matt LaFleur.
Aaron Rodgers has an interception in all but one game, and the team has lost four fumbles.
They have gotten away with it in recent weeks, but they can’t keep turning the ball over at this rate.
The Giants have struggled to score points this season, but the Packers can’t afford to turn the ball over in good field position.
If the Packers play turnover-free football in London, I have no doubt they’ll find a way to win. They can hit too many explosive plays to take the game away from the Giants.
They should’ve pulled ahead against the New England Patriots last week, but turnovers hurt them again and almost allowed the Patriots to take a surprise victory at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay needs to get out of its own way on offense to become more consistent. Take care of the football, and the offense should put up enough points to win.
