Both the Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders need a win in Week 7. Here are the latest odds and a prediction for the matchup.

The Green Bay Packers begin a three-game road stretch in Week 7 when they take on the Washington Commanders.

It may be early in the season, but this could be a must-win matchup for Matt LaFleur’s team with the Buffalo Bills up next on the schedule.

Ahead of this huge game for both teams, here are the latest odds.

Green Bay Packers vs. Washington Commanders odds Week 7

According to FanDuel, the Packers are currently 5.5-point favorites against the Commanders. Despite their recent struggles, Green Bay is the favorite in this game.

The moneyline for Green Bay is -225, with +188 for Washington.

The over/under for this Week 7 matchup is 41.5 points.

Green Bay Packers vs. Washington Commanders prediction Week 7

Both teams have been struggling in recent weeks. While the Commanders are coming off a win over the Chicago Bears, they have scored 17 or fewer points in each of their past four games.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Washington backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke will start against the Packers in Week 7.

Even if we see another disappointing performance from Green Bay’s offense, this is a game the defense should control, despite it being played on the road.

The Commanders have the fourth-worst scoring offense in the NFL, and they will now have to play with Heinicke at quarterback.

So, while the Packers sitting as 5.5-point favorites on the road may come as a surprise initially given their recent performances, they should be too good for a struggling Commanders team missing their starting quarterback.

This could be the bounce-back game Green Bay desperately needs. I predict they’ll pick up a valuable road win, and do so comfortably.
