Week 16: at Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins won their first three games with Tua Tagovailoa, then lost their next three without him. Assuming he plays this game on Christmas Day, it will be a tough challenge for the Packers.

Miami’s talented offense featuring wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle can challenge Green Bay’s defense. The last thing the Packers want is a high-scoring game.

After winning two in a row, the Packers have their Christmas ruined by the Dolphins.

Prediction: Miami 33, Green Bay 24 (8-7)

Week 17: vs. Minnesota Vikings

Maybe the Packers can actually cover Justin Jefferson in this game.

It’s something they’ve decided not to do in their previous three meetings with the Vikings. Jefferson has caught 23 passes for 411 yards and four touchdowns in the past three games against the Packers.

Whether it’s at Lambeau Field or U.S. Bank Stadium, Jefferson can create real problems for the Packers’ defense.

For the first time in the Matt LaFleur era, the Vikings sweep the Packers.

Prediction: Minnesota 27, Green Bay 14 (8-8)

Week 18: vs. Detroit Lions

Last season, nine wins was enough for the Philadelphia Eagles to make the playoffs, but not the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay winning this game to get to 9-8 may be enough for a wild-card berth, but it wouldn’t be a guarantee.

Either way, I have them closing out the season with a victory at Lambeau.

Prediction: Green Bay 31, Detroit 21 (9-8)
