D.J. Moore, Carolina Panthers

This would likely be the toughest trade to pull off on this list. D.J. Moore signed a contract extension with the Carolina Panthers earlier this year. The Packers would have to make it work on the salary cap, but also give up enough to tempt the Panthers in a trade.

And if the Panthers did make Moore available, you can bet there would be a lot of competition.

But the Packers are a win-now team and should be buyers at the trade deadline. In Moore, they would be getting a young, talented receiver who could help the team for many years to come.

Moore has been a star for the Panthers in recent years, putting up over 1,000 yards receiving in each of the past three seasons. He is excellent after the catch — Moore has 1,260 yards after the catch since the start of 2019.

However, it has been a difficult start to 2022 for Moore, who is averaging a career-low 34 receiving yards per game and 10.2 yards per reception.

Moore’s big contract may make a trade difficult for the Packers, but it’s the kind of move that could help the offense. One of the best young receivers in the league, Moore could be a game-changer for Green Bay.
