Green Bay Packers inside linebacker All-Pro De’Vondre Campbell made one of the team’s best defensive plays of the season with a pick-six in Week 7.

De’Vondre Campbell is back.

The Green Bay Packers‘ All-Pro inside linebacker hadn’t made the start to the season expected after a dominant 2021, but he looks back to his best on Sunday.

Green Bay’s defense has struggled to come up with turnovers this season, but Campbell went a way to change that.

The Packers held a four-point lead in the second quarter. Campbell made an impressive interception on a pass from Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke, and he returned it 63 yards for a touchdown.

It’s the type of game-changing play we got used to seeing from Campbell last season, but Green Bay’s defense hasn’t made enough of them in 2022.

It has been a promising first-half performance from Campbell and the defense. Life has been difficult for Heinicke and the Commanders’ passing offense.

Green Bay’s secondary has come close to a couple of interceptions this afternoon. At the time of writing, they have made four pass defenses.

Campbell made one of the toughest chances of the half on his interception, and it could prove to be a crucial moment in this game.

The Packers have struggled to score points this season. As the offense tries to find some consistency, getting help from the defense is important.

Midway through the second quarter, Green Bay’s offense has only scored seven points. Had it not been for Campbell’s pick-six, the Packers may have been behind in this game.

Hopefully this will prove to be a turning point for Joe Barry’s defense, and perhaps a sign that De’Vondre Campbell is back to his All-Pro best.

Green Bay may have more opportunities to force turnovers in this game. It’s important to make the most of them.
