Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell has been a member of the Green Bay Packers since 2021.

In the season-and-a-half that he has played for the Pack, Campbell in 23 games has 207 combined tackles. The Green Bay player who is next closest to Campbell is Adrian Amos with 126 combined tackles.

In last week’s loss to the Washington Commanders, Campbell, a fourth-round draft choice of the Atlanta Falcons in 2016, had 12 combined tackles (seven solo and five assisted), the third game this season he had 10+ combined tackles. In addition, Campbell intercepted a pass and ran it back for a TD, his first NFL TD.

Twelve combined tackles and an interception return for TD in the same game… that put Campbell in some very rare company in NFL history.

Campbell, who played his college football at the University of Minnesota, became the 16th player in NFL history to have 12 or more combined tackles and an interception returned for TD in the same game.

He also became the second Green Bay Packers defender to achieve this rarity; Charles Woodson did it in an October 3, 2010 contest against the Detroit Lions.

For the record, this feat has happened 19 times in NFL history with three players — Ray Lewis, London Fletcher, and Donnie Edwards — doing it twice in their careers.

The 12+ combined tackles and interception in the Washington game was the third time that Campbell has done that in a game. He did it while with the Atlanta Falcons in a game versus Carolina in 2019. He also had 13 combined tackles versus the Lions last season and picked off a pass in a game on September 20.

The three games with 12+ combined tackles and an interception makes Campbell one of only 10 players in NFL history to have achieved those stats in three or more games. Here are those 10 players with the most career games with 12+ combined tackles and an interception:

6 times-London Fletcher
5 times-Sean Lee, Ray Lewis
4 times-Luke Kuechly, Donnie Edwards
3 times: Foyesade Oluokun, De’Vondre Campbell, Paul Posluszny, D’Qwell Jackson, Keith Bulluck

Campbell is one of two Packers defenders to have 12+ tackles and an interception in two career games. The other is Nick Barnett.

Five other Green Bay players have achieved this feat once: Blake Martinez, A.J. Hawk, Charles Woodson, Marques Anderson, and Bernardo Harris.
