The Green Bay Packers could be without multiple key starters in Week 8 when they take on the Buffalo Bills.

The Green Bay Packers have released their first Week 8 injury report ahead of their matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football.

The concern is that many key starters are on the injury report this week.

Here’s a closer look at the Week 8 injury report.

Packers vs. Bills: Rashan Gary, Allen Lazard on injury report

Five players didn’t practice for Green Bay on Wednesday, according to the injury report.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers didn’t practice due to a thumb issue, although this is the same routine he has followed in recent weeks.

Star pass rusher Rashan Gary didn’t practice on Wednesday due to a concussion. That puts his status for Week 8 in doubt as he will need to clear the concussion protocol in time to play.

Wide receiver Allen Lazard is also a doubt to play this week due to a shoulder injury. He didn’t practice on Wednesday, which is a concern.

Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins didn’t practice. It could have just been a rest day, but it’s something to watch.

Cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles also missed practice due to an ankle injury.

Three players were limited at practice for the Packers on Wednesday.

Left tackle David Bakhtiari, who missed last week’s loss to the Washington Commanders, was limited. Wide receivers Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins were also limited at practice.

Hopefully Watson returning to practice is a good sign for his availability this week, but we’ll see.

The Bills listed seven players on their Week 8 injury report, although three were just given veteran rest.

One of the players on the injury report is former Packers wide receiver Jake Kumerow, who was limited at practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury.
