Injuries, injuries, injuries

There are no excuses for the Packers’ performance. However, we can’t discuss this game without noting the bad luck this team had with injuries.

Aaron Jones, Eric Stokes, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and Rashan Gary all suffered injuries in the game. David Bakhtiari and Jon Runyan Jr. also left the game due to injury, but they did eventually return.

That’s a lot of key starters the Packers were without for much of the afternoon.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Doubs and Stokes had their right foot in a boot and had crutches following the game, while Jones had his left foot in a boot. Not good at all.

Watson left the game and was evaluated for a concussion. It’s concerning as Watson suffered a concussion last week against the Buffalo Bills.

Gary suffered a knee injury. There has been no update on whether he will miss any time.

Sunday’s game was a disaster for the Packers. Not only did they put in a poor performance and lose to a division rival, but they also lost a number of key starters to injury.

The season goes from bad to worse for Matt LaFleur’s team. Hopefully there will be some positive injury updates in the coming days.
