The over/under for the game is 42.5 points.

Green Bay’s offense managed just nine points against the league’s bottom-ranked defense a week ago. The Packers are averaging only 17.1 points per contest this season.

This week, they take on a Cowboys defense allowing only 16.6 points per game, third-fewest in the NFL. Green Bay could be held to 10 or fewer points yet again.

Dallas has the fourth-best passing defense, and it goes up against a struggling Green Bay passing offense.

Oh, and the Cowboys are coming off a bye. Mike McCarthy has an 11-4 career record in the game following a bye week, both with Green Bay and Dallas.

He now gets to return to Lambeau Field and effectively end his former team’s season. Think he’ll be motivated? You bet.
