Packers vs. Cowboys prediction and odds for Week 10
The Green Bay Packers are underdogs in their Week 10 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
It has been an awful five weeks for the Green Bay Packers.
They have played in London, Washington, Buffalo, and Detroit, losing all of them, and they saved perhaps their worst performance for their only game at Lambeau Field during that time.
The challenges keep on coming in Week 10, as Mike McCarthy returns to Lambeau with the Dallas Cowboys.
Unsurprisingly, the Packers enter as underdogs.
Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys odds Week 10
According to FanDuel, the Cowboys are five-point favorites in this matchup.
A month ago, it would’ve been hard to believe that Green Bay would be a strong underdog in a game at Lambeau Field, no matter the opponent. But here we are. It’s been that kind of season.
Dallas is -225 on the moneyline, Green Bay is +188.
The over/under for the game is 42.5 points.
Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys prediction Week 10
Green Bay’s offense managed just nine points against the league’s bottom-ranked defense a week ago. The Packers are averaging only 17.1 points per contest this season.
This week, they take on a Cowboys defense allowing only 16.6 points per game, third-fewest in the NFL. Green Bay could be held to 10 or fewer points yet again.
Dallas has the fourth-best passing defense, and it goes up against a struggling Green Bay passing offense.
Oh, and the Cowboys are coming off a bye. Mike McCarthy has an 11-4 career record in the game following a bye week, both with Green Bay and Dallas.
He now gets to return to Lambeau Field and effectively end his former team’s season. Think he’ll be motivated? You bet.
The Packers are five-point underdogs. If they keep this game within five points, they should be delighted. This could be another ugly loss.
