The Green Bay Packers fought back in the fourth quarter to upset Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys. What were the top five takeaways from the victory?

How good does that feel? It has been an awfully long wait for a Green Bay Packers victory.

It felt like a special evening at Lambeau Field as the Packers fought back to defeat the Dallas Cowboys. Easily their best performance of the season, and one they hope is a turning point.

The Packers never quit, fought hard in each phase of the game, and were rewarded with a comeback victory over the Cowboys.

What were the biggest takeaways?

Packers save their season with comeback victory

All it takes is one moment. A victory. Perhaps history can repeat itself from 2016.

That season, the Packers lost four in a row with the season seemingly lost. Then came an inspirational win over the Philadelphia Eagles, shortly after Aaron Rodgers had said the team could run the table.

The next time they lost was the NFC Championship Game.

It’s important not to get carried away after one win. There is still a lot of work for this team to do. But it’s a start.

They never gave up, and this victory saved their season. Perhaps it will give them the confidence to stack success in the coming weeks, beginning Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans.
