The Green Bay Packers suffered a tough loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 11. What were the biggest takeaways?

As the Green Bay Packers‘ offense failed in the fourth quarter of a two-score game against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, their season may have come to an end.

The Packers have lost seven games with only four wins, including six defeats in their past seven games.

It’s nowhere near good enough for a team that entered the regular season with Super Bowl ambitions.

What did we learn? Let’s look at the five biggest takeaways from Thursday Night Football.

Packers’ playoff hopes fading

Following Thursday Night Football, FiveThirtyEight gives Green Bay only a five percent of reaching the postseason. And understandably so.

With this defeat, the Packers are falling further behind the wild-card teams. The San Francisco 49ers are currently ahead of Green Bay in the standings with a 5-4 record, compared to the Packers’ 4-7.

Green Bay also loses some head-to-head tiebreakers to other teams in contention like the Washington Commanders and New York Giants.

It’s not just the standings, either. Outside of the win over the Dallas Cowboys last week, this team hasn’t been anywhere near good enough this season. They have shown very few signs of being able to turn things around and make a playoff run.
