Predicting the Packers’ final six games of 2022 season
The Green Bay Packers have six games to save their season.
At a minimum, they likely need to win five. Six is probably what they require. Run the table and get some help along the way.
It’s a long shot, no doubt, but can the Packers do it?
Here are predictions for their remaining six games:
Week 12: at Philadelphia Eagles
This is a huge challenge for the Packers. The Eagles have the best record in football at 9-1. Their defense ranks second, their offense fifth. They are averaging 26.3 points per game and allowing only 18.3.
It could be a long evening for Green Bay.
Philadelphia 27, Green Bay 14 (4-8)
Week 13: at Chicago Bears
Justin Fields’ injury could be a factor in this. If he plays, he will test the Packers’ defense. Fields has an impressive 15 touchdowns (nine passing, six rushing) over the past five games.
However, Chicago’s defense has struggled and the team has lost four in a row.
Green Bay 24, Chicago 21 (5-8)
Week 15: Los Angeles Rams
The Packers could have been the most disappointing team in the NFC, had it not been for the Rams. The defending Super Bowl champions have a 3-7 record and the 30th-ranked offense.
Green Bay 21, Los Angeles 17 (6-8)
Week 16: at Miami Dolphins
Unfortunately, the good news ends here. The Dolphins’ offense will have too much for Joe Barry’s defense. Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for 2,265 yards, 18 touchdowns, and three interceptions, with a league-best passer rating of 118.4.
Miami 34, Green Bay 21 (6-9)
Week 17: Minnesota Vikings
Za’Darius Smith returns to Lambeau Field and has multiple sacks, while Justin Jefferson has another huge game against the Packers.
In his past three games against Green Bay, Jefferson has four touchdown catches and is averaging 137 receiving yards per contest.
Minnesota 27, Green Bay 17 (6-10)
Week 18: Detroit Lions
With the season over, Jordan Love could start in this game. Unfortunately, the season finale plays out in similar style to last year.
Detroit 24, Green Bay 21 (6-11)
