The Green Bay Packers’ 2022 season has been a disaster, but maybe it would’ve been different if they still had these four players.

The Green Bay Packers began the season as Super Bowl contenders, but at 4-8, their hopes are all but over.

It has been a challenging year for Matt LaFleur’s team, which comes after an eventful offseason.

Due to salary cap limitations, Green Bay had to move on from key players over the past couple of years. The team desperately misses some of those players.

Maybe it would’ve gone differently this season if these four players were still in Green Bay.

4. Jamaal Williams

While Aaron Jones has been at his Pro Bowl best when given a featured role this season, AJ Dillon has struggled somewhat.

Dillon hasn’t taken the step forward many would’ve expected, and he hasn’t been consistent enough as the Packers’ power running back.

Jamaal Williams, meanwhile, is having a great season for the Detroit Lions.

Williams has rushed 177 times for 734 yards and a league-high 13 touchdowns this season. He is averaging 4.1 yards per attempt. He has been a touchdown machine for the Lions.

The Packers made the right call to move on from Williams a year ago. They had drafted Dillon in the second round and couldn’t afford to pay Williams.

Despite that, there’s no doubt he would’ve helped the Packers in 2022.
